Festival fever

We are fast approaching the start of summer festivals.

Being a Melbourne girl I know the hype and excitement that comes along with this season for it's music and fashion. 

It's important when dressing for festivals to remember to HAVE FUN Use it as your chance to wear what ever you want and enjoy it, whether it's gumboots and fringed kimonos to cropped band tees and fluro leggings!!

An important style inspiration to me is re invention.

I love to create looks/designs that excite me and I always hope this translates to the people who view/wear my work. 

I take pride in my concepts and stay true to myself at all times and find it really sad when people imitate and copy, I recently posted a status asking "Is imitation really the most sincerest form of flattery?" As most creative people will tell you, NO! It simply takes away from everything you stand for in creating in the first place.

Colour me Summer

A very fabulous team and I recently worked on a shoot completely inspired by summer and all it's inspiring brightness.


I created the concept to be pure fun and energy with colour and I can not wait to show the final product soon!!

Only the Lonely's

I was so excited to see the first couple of images today of some Only the Lonely customers in their headpieces at the races.


I've been designing to match dresses/accessories and it's so rewarding to see the girls wearing them and looking SO beautiful!

Sell away

Last week in a moment of 'Let's be productive' on a day off I decided to list some clothing for sale on facebook that I have not worn for ages or have used in previous shoots.


The response was awesome and had me at the post office everyday nearly. 


I wonder what girls are interested in finding when hunting through the op shops and vintage stores, I decided to put a shout out on facebook to see just what that was..


Summer accessories, belts, bags, jewellery and shoes! 


Seeing my favourite thing to do is hunt for amazing clothing and accessories I thought I could randomly hunt for such items and bring them to the people for sale, let's call it a part time vintage online sale!!

Meeting the Queen

I met the Queen. A personal idol of mine Gok Wan has inspired me for years. Not only is his Styling amazing, inventive and 'bang on trend', but he has empowered countless women to feel great through fashion which is what I love about the personal styling I do. That satisfaction to boost someones self esteem and that translates to all areas of their lives.

Here I am meeting the man and giving him a cheeky spiked headband from my label as a little gift for inspiring me.

Only the Lonely

It's been a very busy and exciting time for my label 'Only the Lonely' with Spring Racing underway. I am very busy with custom orders and I am loving the emails I'm receiving with pics of your dresses and creating something to suit it perfectly.


The best part will be seeing the photos of you girls wearing my pieces!
